One project that we are very excited about is our 6-week Showcase Prep Classes. Classes are limited to 7 people per session in order to maximize instruction and feedback. The classes are designed to aid comedians in fine tuning their live showcasing for a club audition or festival/contest participation. We start with a review of the current state of your 5 minute set, then provide feedback and peer review on the writing, delivery and set construction during your performances. Each week you will submit or perform an updated version of the set, with further feedback and peer review.
These classes will run for roughtly 2 hours once a week for 6 weeks. Jason has successfully run a program like this during his tenure as General Manager of The Comedy MIX. The classes will take place online using Streamyard. Clients can perform their set live during the session, or submit a video ahead of the class which will be shared during the class. Each client will also receive an extra one-on-one session covering any topic the client would like to discuss (specific jokes, showcase set construction, what bookers are looking for, etc). The 6 weeks of direct feedback represent a further $900 in value of coaching sessions. Grand total, the 6 week of classes represent 12 hours of feedback and coaching PLUS a one-on-one session that would cost $999 if booked individually with Comedyfeedback.com. As an introductory special, we are offering these 6-week classes for $399*. If the feedback and tips you learn over the course of the classes lead to one extra paid gig, you will have recovered your investment.
